About this farwell gift
Farwell is a surname as well as a place name, and the Farwell page here is about the word as a city. Because we don't know much about the specific place it refers to, this page focuses on what a Farwell gift can do rather than guessing at local history. A shirt, hoodie or mug with the city name is a way for someone who grew up there, or who moved away, to claim it. Many people buy hometown gear for a sibling, a parent who relocated, or a friend who now lives across the country. The simplest way to make it theirs is to add a second line for a neighborhood, a graduation year or a nickname only the people who know the place would get. The mug suits a kitchen, the hoodie suits cold mornings, and the kids tees let a family show where they're from.
