About this gower gift
Gower is a peninsula in Wales, and the word also turns up as a surname and a place name in England, so the person you're shopping for could be a local, a family member with Welsh roots, or someone who simply loves the coast. If you know they've visited the Gower coast or walked the cliffs at Rhossili, a tee with that name is a quick way to show you were paying attention. For someone with the surname, the name itself is the gift: a shirt, hoodie or mug that says Gower on it is the kind of thing that gets worn to a family gathering and mentioned in conversation. A baby onesie suits a new arrival in a family that carries the name. Add a second line with a year, a town or a family nickname, and the design becomes about their particular connection to the word rather than a generic one.
