Hickory Flat Slasher Style mug

About this hickory flat gift

Hickory Flat is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. Whether they're living down the road or have moved off to a city where nobody knows where it is, a shirt with the town name is how they say where they're from. It's the kind of gift that gets worn to the local fish fry, to the high school reunion, and to the out-of-state office where the coworkers have never heard of it. The name itself does most of the work, so keep the design simple and let the town speak for itself. If you'd like a little more personality, add a year they were born, the year they graduated, or the street they grew up on in the second line. That's the detail that makes a Hickory Flat shirt feel like theirs rather than a souvenir. Hoodies suit the cooler months when people head back for games and holidays, and a mug works well for someone who starts the morning at a kitchen table far from home.
