About this itta bena gift
Itta Bena is a small town in the Mississippi Delta, and the people who grew up there often carry it with them wherever they land. A shirt with the town name is how someone who left wears their roots, whether that's for a homecoming weekend, a visit back to see family, or just a reminder of where they started. Small towns tend to make people fiercely loyal, so a gift that names the place lands better than a generic Mississippi souvenir. Add a second line with the year they graduated, the street they grew up on, or the family name, and the shirt becomes about them and not only the map. A mug suits the person who misses home and drinks coffee at the kitchen table every morning. For a kid who's just been born there, or whose family still lives there, a onesie carries the town name from the very first day.
