About this lathrop gift
Lathrop is a small city in San Joaquin County in California's Central Valley, and people who call it home tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the name on it is a quiet way of saying where you're from, especially for someone who has moved away for school or work and still tells people Lathrop when they're asked. For a local, a hometown tee or hoodie is the kind of gift that gets worn to the grocery store, the youth game and the family barbecue. Because the name is short, the design can stay simple and clean, and you can add a line underneath for a street, a neighborhood or the year they moved in. A mug works well for the parent or grandparent who wants the town name on something they use every morning. Whatever you choose, the shirt will feel most like theirs if you use the name they'd actually say when someone asks where they're from.
