About this latrobe gift
Latrobe is a small city in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Latrobe shirt is how a former resident says hello to their hometown, whether they live two hours away or across the country. Because it's a small place where everyone seems to know everyone, a shirt with the city name lands as a little bit of home rather than a generic souvenir. Think about who in the family left and who stayed: the one who moved for work will feel it most on a cold morning with a Latrobe mug, and the one who never left can wear it to the grocery store and be recognized. If you know the neighborhood, the street or the year they graduated from high school, add it on the second line and the shirt becomes specifically theirs.
