About this lawtey gift
Lawtey is a small town in Bradford County, Florida, and people who come from a place that size tend to hold onto it hard. A shirt with the town name is how someone who grew up there says so, whether they still live a few miles away or have been gone for years. Small towns also have their own kind of pride: the people who know which road leads to which fishing hole, and who recognize each other's last names at the gas station. For that person, a Lawtey shirt or mug reads as a joke only they fully get, and it's worth more than a generic souvenir. Add a second line with a graduation year, a family name, or a street if you know one, and the design becomes about their own history rather than just the map. If you're buying for someone who moved away, a mug for the kitchen counter is an easy way to say you remember where they're from.
