About this los angeles gift
Los Angeles people carry the city in a particular way. Some grew up in the Valley or Long Beach and still measure distance in freeway exits. Others moved there for film, music or a job and have stayed long enough to claim it. A shirt that says Los Angeles is how they answer the question of where they're from, whether that's a hometown tee for a visit home or a hoodie that gets worn through a coastal fog that never quite burns off. Many of the designs here have a second line, so you can add a neighborhood like Echo Park, Silver Lake or Venice, or a year of arrival, and make the piece about their particular corner of the city rather than the postcard version. For the one who now lives somewhere else and misses the sunshine, a mug on the desk does the job every morning.
