About this lykens gift
Lykens is a small borough in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they end up. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a family visit, or a trip back through the area. Because the place is small, the people who know it best will recognize it right away, and that familiarity is most of the appeal. Put it on a hoodie for a cold morning, a mug for the kitchen of someone who moved away, or a kids tee so the next generation knows where the family comes from. You can also use a second line for a graduation year, a class, or the name of the street they grew up on, which makes the shirt personal rather than a generic souvenir. If you're buying for a group from the town, the Team Shop lets you put each person's name on their own shirt in the same design.
