About this new britain gift
New Britain people have a particular kind of pride, the kind that comes from a Connecticut city with a long working history and a loyalty that outlasts moves. A New Britain shirt is how they show it on the drive out of town, at a family gathering in another state, or on a Saturday at the park. Many of the people who'd wear one grew up here and never quite stopped claiming the place, even after they've moved. A tee or hoodie makes a good everyday gift, and the mug suits the one who still calls the city home from a few hours away. If you're buying for a kid who's just starting to say where they're from, a kids tee or baby onesie with the city name is a sweet way to start the tradition. You can add a neighborhood, a school, or the year they were born on the second line, so the shirt says something specific about them.
