About this old lyme gift
Old Lyme is a small town on the Connecticut shoreline, and people who grew up there or summer there tend to hold onto it hard. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it, whether they're walking the beach, heading to a high school reunion or just missing the salt air from somewhere far inland. Because it's a small place, the gift lands best when it feels specific: a second line for a street, a family name or the year they moved away. Old Lyme is also a town people return to, so a hoodie suits the one who comes back for autumn weekends, and a mug suits the one who wants a daily reminder. For someone who has lived there their whole life, a tee with the town name on it is an easy, warm gift that doesn't need explaining.
