About this onamia gift
Onamia is a small town in Mille Lacs County in central Minnesota, near the lake of the same name, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with Onamia on it is how someone who left wears their hometown, whether they're back for a summer weekend on the water or living in a city far from the lake. For people still there, it's a way to say they belong to the place. Since a town this size doesn't have a big souvenir trade, a personal design stands out. Add the year they graduated, a family name, or the lake they fish on, and it becomes a gift only they would understand. A mug works well for the transplant's morning coffee, and a hoodie covers the cold lake evenings that come even in summer.
