About this owatonna gift
Owatonna is a small city in southeastern Minnesota, the county seat of Steele County, and most people who live there have a real attachment to the place. A shirt with the city name is the kind of thing a person wears to the Steele County Fair, to a high school game, or on the drive back after a visit home. For someone who grew up in Owatonna and moved away, a mug or tee that says Owatonna is a quiet reminder of where they started. For someone who still lives there, it's a way to claim the town as their own. Because the city is small, a second line with a year, a school or a street can make a shirt feel personal in a way a generic souvenir never will. If you're shopping for a relative who's far away, a hoodie for the Minnesota winter they're no longer used to is a practical gift that also says you remember where they're from.
