About this owego gift
Owego is a small village in the Southern Tier of New York, set on the Susquehanna River, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with Owego on it is how a former resident says where they're from when someone asks, or how a family back home shows they still belong to the place. Because it's a small town, most people who know it will recognize the name right away, and that's the point: it's a gift that starts a conversation. For someone who moved away for school or work, a mug or hoodie with the town name is a small piece of home for the cold mornings and long commutes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add the year they graduated from the local school, the street they grew up on, or a line that only the people from there would understand.
