About this packaging director gift
A packaging director usually spends their days balancing three things at once: the brand team wanting something eye-catching, the operations side wanting it cheap and fast to run, and the sustainability folks asking what happens to it after it's opened. Most of that work happens in meetings and spreadsheets, so a gift that shows you know what they actually do tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with their title on it gives them something to wear on a plant visit or to a trade show, and a mug is the kind of thing that sits on a desk through long supplier calls. If you want it to feel personal, add the company name or their team on a second line, or pick a design that fits how they talk about the work. Packaging people take pride in things that are well made and well fitted, so the detail that matters is that it looks like they chose it, not that it came off a generic rack.
