About this shade gap gift
Shade Gap is a small place, which means the people who grew up there or moved away tend to hold on to it. A shirt with the town name is how someone from Shade Gap says where they're from when a stranger asks, and it's a good way to show a homesick friend or relative that you remember where they came from. Small towns also run on community: the church potluck, the school ballgame, the people who know everyone's business. A Shade Gap shirt or mug suits someone who's proud of that kind of place, and a hoodie works well for the cold months when the whole town seems to come out in layers. You can add a second line with a street, a year they graduated, or a family name to make it theirs.
