About this shields gift
Shields is a name that gets noticed. Whether it belongs to a grandparent, a cousin, a newlywed couple or the family that's been in one town for generations, people with this last name often hear the same jokes about it, and they usually take them well. A shirt with Shields across the chest is an easy way to say that you know the name and you're proud of it. For a family gathering, a reunion or a wedding weekend, it works as a team shirt and a photo prop at once. Add a second line for a first name, a reunion year, or the town the family started in, and it stops being a generic name tee and becomes theirs. Hoodies suit cold-weather family events and the drive home afterward, and a mug with the name on it is the everyday version, the one that sits in the kitchen and gets used every morning.
