About this stearns gift
Stearns is a county in central Minnesota, and it's also a last name tied to some of the state's best-known families, so the word can mean a place or a person depending on who you're shopping for. If your recipient grew up in Stearns County, or still gets homesick for it, a shirt with the county name is an easy way to say you know where they're from. Lakes, farmland and small towns are the everyday backdrop of life there, and a tee or hoodie with the name on it fits the weekend chores, the county fair and the drive back for the holidays. For someone who moved away, a mug on their desk is a small daily reminder of home. If you're not sure which Stearns they are, check the second line on the design: many options have room for a town, a year or a family name, so you can add the detail that makes the gift theirs.
