About this taneytown gift
Taneytown is a small town in Carroll County, Maryland, and people who grew up there often stay attached to it long after they leave. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it, whether they're still around the corner from the old elementary school or living in another state and missing the drive through the countryside. It's the kind of place where people know each other, so a Taneytown shirt tends to start conversations at the grocery store, at a high school game or on a trip home for the holidays. For someone who moved away, a mug with the town name is a quiet way to say you remember where they're from. For someone still local, a hoodie works well through the cold months. Add a second line like a graduation year, a street or a family name to make it theirs.
