About this transfer gift
A transfer is someone who's changed schools, usually a few times over, and carried the weight of new campuses, new credits, and new friend groups. What they tend to want is recognition that they belong to a different kind of path. A shirt or hoodie that says Transfer gives them a small way to claim that identity, and they can add the school they're headed to or the year they made the move. Community college students finishing their transfer are a common case, as are students who moved to a four-year school mid-degree. Those students often feel out of place on a new campus for a while, so a hoodie they can wear to class and to the first football game helps them look like they belong there. A mug for the dorm or apartment works too, for the early mornings when the new schedule feels brutal.
