About this alplaus gift
Alplaus is a small community in Schenectady County, New York, along the Mohawk River, and people who live there tend to have a strong sense of place. A shirt with Alplaus on it is how a local shows where they're from at a county fair, a high school reunion, or a family visit back home. Because it's a small place, the name itself carries the meaning, and a design someone grew up with can mean more than any souvenir from a bigger city. For someone who has moved away, a mug or hoodie with the town name is a quiet reminder of home. Kids' tees and onesies work well for families who want to pass the place along. Add a year, a street, or a family name in the second line to make it theirs.
