About this appleton gift
Appleton is a small city on the Fox River in northeast Wisconsin, and people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live nearby or ended up across the country. A shirt with Appleton on it is how they claim the place, for a trip back home, a visit to the riverfront, or just a reminder of where they're from. For someone who's moved away, a mug or hoodie with the city name carries a lot of quiet homesickness. For a student heading off to college or a friend who's always talked about home, a city shirt says you know where they come from. Pick the design that fits their style, then add a second line for a neighborhood, a graduation year or the name of their high school class so the gift feels like theirs and not a souvenir from a gas station.
