About this ashfield gift
Ashfield is a small place, and that's part of the appeal. People who grew up there, or moved away and kept the name close, tend to hold onto a town like this in a way they don't with a big city. A shirt with Ashfield on it is how they show that to the people around them: at a homecoming, on a visit back, or just wearing it to a coffee shop three states away where nobody else has heard of the place. Because Ashfield isn't a name everyone recognizes, a little personal detail goes a long way. Put a year underneath, the year they moved in or the year they left, or the street they grew up on, and the shirt turns into something that belongs to them alone. The same goes for a mug on the kitchen counter, where a hometown name becomes a small daily reminder of where they started.
