About this avera gift
Avera is a small town, and I don't know much about it beyond the name, so I won't guess at its history or landmarks. What I can say is that people who come from a small place tend to carry it with them, and a shirt or mug with the town's name is a quiet way to say where they're from. A tee works for a homecoming weekend, a hoodie for a cold season back home, and a mug for the kitchen of someone who moved away. For a baby, a onesie with the town name starts a family story early. If you know the town well, add a detail only you and they would recognize, like a street, a school year or a family name, on the second line. That's what turns a town name into their town.
