About this brookeland gift
Brookeland is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them, whether they still live down the road or have moved to a city a thousand miles away. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, a homecoming game, or a family visit back home. I don't know a lot of specific detail about Brookeland itself, so the best way to make the gift theirs is to add what only you two share: the year they left, the street they grew up on, or the school or church that anchored their childhood. Many designs have a second line, so the town can sit on top and the personal detail underneath. For someone who's moved away, a mug with the town name is a small morning reminder of where they started, and a hoodie suits the cold months when they miss being home.
