About this bunker hill gift
Bunker Hill is the name of a neighborhood in Charlestown, Boston, and also a Revolutionary War battle site that anyone from that part of the city will tell you about at length. The people who'd wear this are often locals who grew up with the monument on the skyline, or history-minded folks who visited the site and want a reminder of it. A tee with Bunker Hill on the front is a quiet nod to that heritage, and a dark shirt suits the nights out and the cooler months. A hoodie works well for the walk up the hill on a windy day, and a mug suits the kitchen table where the morning news gets read. For a Boston native who's moved away, the place name carries a lot of memory. If you're unsure of the exact neighborhood or local meaning behind the name, you can add a second line with a street, a year, or a phrase of your own so the shirt reflects their connection to it.
