About this chula vista gift
Chula Vista is a city in San Diego County, close to the border, with a big waterfront along San Diego Bay and a lot of families who have called it home for generations. People who grew up here often carry the city with them when they move, and a shirt with Chula Vista on it is a quick way to say where they're from. Because the city has its own identity apart from the larger San Diego area, a Chula Vista design tends to land better than a generic San Diego one. Add a neighborhood, a school, or the year they moved in as a second line, and the shirt becomes specific to their story. For someone who's left and misses it, a mug is a daily reminder. For a new parent, a baby onesie with the city name is a sweet way to pass it on.
