About this dahlonega gift
Dahlonega is a small mountain town in north Georgia, best known as the site of the 1828 gold rush that drew prospectors to the Appalachian foothills. People who grew up there or moved away carry that small-town pride with them, and a shirt with the town name is how they say so at a family reunion, a college football game or the trip back for the fall festival. The town's square, its historic courthouse and the surrounding mountains make it an easy place to be proud of. A hoodie suits the cold mountain mornings, a dark tee works for hikers and weekend trips, and a mug fits the kitchen of someone who misses the hills. Add a second line with a street, a school or the year they left, and the design stops being a souvenir and becomes theirs.
