About this foresthill gift
Foresthill is a small community in Placer County, California, set in the foothills east of Sacramento with pine and oak country around it. People who grew up there tend to hold onto the place, whether they still live up the hill or moved down to the valley and came back on weekends. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at the county fair, the school reunion or a family cabin trip. Foresthill has a tight, small-town feel, so the gifts that land are the ones that name the town itself rather than a generic outdoors theme. A tee or hoodie for the high school grad heading off to college, a mug for the parent who stayed behind, or a onesie for a new baby born into the family all carry that sense of home. You can add a second line, like a street, a graduating class or a family name, to make it personal to the person you're shopping for.
