About this gerlach gift
Gerlach is a small name, and the place it points to is small too. I don't know much about Gerlach as a town, so I'd rather not guess at its history, its landmarks or the local traditions that might make it feel like home. What I can say is that a gift tied to a specific place lands when it matches how the person thinks of where they come from. A shirt with Gerlach on it works for someone who grew up there and is proud of it, or for someone who lives there now and wants to show it. If you know the person's street, the school they went to or the year they left, put that on the second line and the design becomes theirs. A Gerlach mug suits the morning coffee of someone who still checks in with the place every week. The product does the job; the details you add make it personal.
