About this ghent gift
Ghent is a Belgian city of canals, medieval towers and student bars, and the people who love it tend to say so loudly. A Ghent shirt is a quiet way for a Belgian expat, a former exchange student or someone who came back from a canal-side weekend to show where their heart is. It's a small, handsome city, so the gift works best when it feels like a memory rather than a tourist souvenir. A hoodie suits someone who still walks the old center in the cold months, and a mug suits the friend who keeps talking about the waffles and the bridges. Because Ghent is less famous than Brussels or Bruges, many people who know it did so through a particular year or a particular friend, so a second line with that year or a neighborhood name makes the gift specific. The designs come in tees, kids sizes, onesies, hoodies and mugs, so you can match the recipient's everyday habits.
