About this gothenburg gift
Gothenburg is Sweden's second-largest city, a port on the west coast known for its canals, its tram lines and its long summers that feel like a gift after the dark winters. People who grew up there or studied there tend to carry the city with them, and a Gothenburg shirt is an easy way to say so. It's a good pick for someone who moved abroad and misses the harbor, for a student who spent a semester at the university, or for a relative with Swedish roots who wants a piece of the city on their own chest. Gothenburg has a strong maritime past and a relaxed, coastal feel, so a light tee for summer or a hoodie for the cooler months both fit. Add a neighborhood or the year they lived there and the design becomes personal rather than generic.
