About this greentown gift
Greentown is a place name, and a place name on a shirt usually means someone who grew up there, moved away, or just likes the way it sounds. Greentown people tend to carry their hometown with them. A tee that says Greentown is how they wave the flag at a reunion, a school event, or a trip back home for the holidays. A hoodie suits the one who misses the cold mornings and the familiar streets. A mug is a daily reminder for someone who now lives in a bigger city and still tells people where they're from. Because the word is specific, the easiest way to make the gift theirs is to use the second line: add the year they left, the year they graduated, or the street they grew up on. That small detail is what turns a town name into their story.
