About this grosse pointe gift
Grosse Pointe is a set of lakeside suburbs on Detroit's east side, known for big old houses, tree-lined streets and a town-by-town identity that people hold onto tightly. Someone who grew up there or still lives there tends to talk about which Pointe they're from, and a shirt that names it is a quick way to say so. It works well for a homecoming visit, a family reunion held in the area, or someone who moved away and misses the lake. Because the area is made up of several communities, it's worth thinking about whether the gift should say Grosse Pointe generally or name the specific town they call home. A hoodie suits the cool lake breezes most of the year, and a mug fits the morning coffee of someone who's got Michigan roots and a soft spot for their hometown. Type the name into the text box and check the preview before you order.
