About this kittanning gift
Kittanning is a small borough on the Allegheny River in western Pennsylvania, the county seat of Armstrong County. People who grew up there tend to stay connected to it, whether they still live nearby or have moved to a city far away. A Kittanning shirt is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation. It works for a trip back home, a family reunion, a school reunion or just an ordinary weekend. Because the town is small, the people who know it will notice the name right away, and it makes a good conversation starter with anyone who has never heard of it. For someone who has moved away, a Kittanning mug or hoodie is a quiet reminder of home. If you're buying for a child growing up there, a kids tee or baby onesie with the town name can start a family tradition of wearing where you're from.
