About this kualapuu gift
Kualapuu is a small town on the island of Molokai in Hawaii, and people who grew up there often carry it with them as a point of pride. A shirt with the town's name is how a Kualapuu kid or former resident shows where they're from, whether they live on the island or have moved to the mainland for school or work. Because the town is small, a name like this tends to mean a great deal to the people who know it, and a gift that simply says where someone is from can feel more personal than a generic souvenir. For the person who has left, a mug or hoodie carries that connection into everyday life. You can add a year, a class or a family name on the second line of many designs, which turns a place name into something that belongs to one specific person.
