About this mifflintown gift
Mifflintown is a small county seat in Juniata County, Pennsylvania, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt or mug with the town name is a way to claim a place that is small enough that everyone knows which school, church or diner you mean. It suits the former resident who moved to a bigger city and misses the quiet, the hometown ballfield and the feeling that people still know your family. For the home-grown kid heading off to college, a hoodie with the town name shows where they started. Since Mifflintown is a small place, you may find that a shirt for a native or a gift for someone who lives there is a conversation starter with people who know exactly where it is. Add the year they graduated or the street they grew up on in the second line to make it theirs.
