About this millinocket gift
Millinocket is a paper-mill town in northern Maine, the kind of place people leave for work and come back to for the summers, the moose and the quiet. A shirt with Millinocket on it is how someone who grew up there tells a stranger where they're from, and how a visitor shows they've made the drive up Route 11 to Baxter State Park. Mill towns carry their history in their people, so a Millinocket tee, hoodie or mug tends to land best with someone who still feels that pull toward home. Add a graduation year, a high school class, or the neighborhood they grew up in, and the shirt becomes a record of their own story. For the transplant who misses Maine winters, a mug with the town name is a daily reminder of where they're from.
