About this schellsburg gift
Schellsburg is a small borough in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, whether they still live in town or have moved to a bigger city for work. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it at a reunion, at a high school football game, or at a family picnic where half the people wearing it knew each other as kids. Small towns are also where people notice the details: a shirt with Schellsburg and the year they graduated, or the name of the street they grew up on, reads as a real gift rather than a souvenir. For someone who has left, a mug with the town on it is a small daily reminder of where they came from. Because the town is small, a design with the name and a second line for a year or family name tends to feel more personal than the big-city styles people usually buy.
