About this new canaan gift
New Canaan is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and the people who grew up there, or came for the schools and the trains into New York, tend to hold onto it. A New Canaan shirt is how they show it at a high school reunion, at a youth sports game, or on a visit back to see family. The town is small enough that a shirt with just the name gets a nod from locals, and a second line with a street, a school or a graduating class year turns it into something only a few people would know. For the family who moved away, a mug with New Canaan on it is a daily reminder of home. For a parent whose kids are growing up in town, a hoodie or kids tee lets the whole family wear where they're from. Choose the product that fits how they live, then add the detail that makes it theirs.
