About this ogdensburg gift
Ogdensburg is a small city on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the city name is how a former resident waves the flag at a college reunion, a family visit, or a trip back through town. The river, the winters and the sense that everybody knows somebody all show up in the way people talk about it. For someone who left, a mug with Ogdensburg on it is a morning reminder of home. For someone still there, a hoodie for the cold months makes sense. You can add a second line with a neighborhood, a high school class year or a street name, and the design starts to sound like the person who receives it. If you're not sure what they'd want written, a simple city name on a plain shirt is often the one they wear the most.
