About this parkersburg gift
Parkersburg is a river city in West Virginia where the Ohio and Little Kanawha rivers meet, and people who grew up there tend to stay proud of it wherever they land. A shirt with the city name is how they claim it at a reunion, on a road trip, or at a college campus far from home. Because so many people from a town like this have a connection to a particular neighborhood, school or family, the second line is where the gift gets personal. Add a graduation year, a high school class, or the street they grew up on. A hoodie suits the homesick grad headed off to school, and a mug works for the parent who still keeps the hometown paper on the table. Mix and match across the designs to find the one that sounds most like them.
