About this peshtigo gift
Peshtigo is a small city in northeastern Wisconsin, on the Peshtigo River near where it meets Green Bay. People who grew up there tend to carry that hometown identity with them, whether they're still around the paper mill and the river or have moved on to bigger cities for work. A Peshtigo shirt or hoodie is a simple way to claim the place, and it suits anyone who gets asked where they're from and has to explain the name. For a relative who moved away, a mug with the city name is the sort of small reminder that gets used every morning. For a family with kids, a Peshtigo tee or onesie marks where they started. Because the name is less familiar than a big city, a second line with a year, a school or a family name can make the design feel like it belongs to one particular person.
