About this sabattus gift
Sabattus is a small town in Androscoggin County, Maine, and the people who live there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A shirt with the town name on it is how someone shows they're from a place where everybody knows the post office clerk and the high school game is the big event of the fall. It's a good gift for anyone who grew up there and moved away, or for a relative who still lives in town and wears their hometown on their sleeve. Because the town is small, a personal touch matters: add a graduation year, a class, a street or a family name on the second line so the shirt means something only the people from there would fully understand. A mug suits the one who wants a daily reminder of home, and a hoodie works well for the long Maine winters.
