About this sharon gift
Sharon is a name with a long run behind it, so the person wearing it could be a grandmother who's answered to it for seventy years or a coworker who's heard every joke about it already. That's a good starting point. A Sharon gift works best when it sounds like her: a mug she'll reach for every morning, a soft tee for weekend errands, a hoodie for the cold stretch of the year. Start with her name on the front, then use the second line for something that's hers alone, such as a nickname the family uses, a birthday year, Grandma, Aunt Sharon or the book club she runs. Sharon is also the name of towns in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, so if you're shopping for someone who loves the place she's from, the same word does double duty. Kids and babies can match with the family on tees and onesies.
