About this slaughters gift
Slaughters is a small place in Kentucky, and the people who grew up there tend to carry the name with them. A shirt that says Slaughters is how someone who left wears their roots, and how a family that stayed shows the town is still home. The place name is the whole story, so it works best on a plain design where nothing competes with it. Add a second line for a year, a street or a family name to make it personal. The shirt you pick should match how the person lives: a hoodie for cold mornings, a tee for the drive back for a visit, a mug for the kitchen table. Because the name is unusual, the shirt will also start conversations, which is part of its appeal.
