About this solano gift
Solano is a county and a city in California's Bay Area, and it's a place where people tend to stay close to home. Grandparents who've lived in Vallejo or Fairfield for decades, kids who went to school in Benicia and still come back for the summer, families who grew up with the Solano County Fair and the wine country just up the road. A shirt or mug that says Solano is a way to claim a place that doesn't always get the attention of its neighbors. It works well for someone who has moved away and misses the drive home, or for someone who still lives there and wears their hometown without thinking about it. Since the word covers a whole county and several cities, a second line with the town they're really from makes the gift specific. Hoodies suit the cool foggy mornings, and kids tees make a good match for a family who wants everyone in the same shirt at a county event.
