About this somes bar gift
Somes Bar is a small community on the Salmon River in Siskiyou County, California, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of how remote and rugged it is. Many have spent their lives along the river, in the canyon and up the forested slopes, and a shirt with the name is a way of saying where you're from when most people have never heard of it. It's a gift for someone who doesn't need a bigger city to feel rooted. A hoodie is the practical pick for cold mornings on the water or a drive over the ridge, a mug fits the kitchen table, and a tee works for the trip back home. If you're buying for someone who moved away and misses the river, the name on a shirt is often the closest thing to going back. Add a year, a road, or a family name in the second line to make it theirs.
