About this south county gift
South County usually means the southern stretch of a region, most often the South County of Rhode Island, where beaches, salt ponds and small harbor towns make up much of the landscape. People who grew up there, or who spend summers there, carry it with them. A shirt or mug with South County on it is a way to say where home is, especially for someone who now lives somewhere flatter or busier. The place name does the talking, so the product can be simple. Add a town name, a street, or a year on the second line if you want to make it more specific to them. For a family that has been going to the same beach or harbor for generations, a matching set of tees turns a vacation photo into a tradition. A hoodie fits the cold-weather side of the coast, and a mug suits the person who wants their morning coffee to come from home.
