South Ryegate Soccer mug

About this south ryegate gift

South Ryegate is a small town in Caledonia County, Vermont, with a few hundred residents and the kind of quiet, rural character that tends to bring people home. People who grew up there, or who lived there for a stretch and left, often hold onto it as the place that shaped them. A shirt or mug with the town name is a simple way to say where someone is from, whether they still live nearby or have spent years somewhere far away. Because it's a small place, the name itself carries a lot of meaning, and a gift with just the town name can feel personal to a neighbor, a former resident or someone who once called it home. For a gift that feels closer to them, add a second line with a year they lived there, the school they attended or a family name. A hoodie suits Vermont winters well, and a mug works for the homesick former resident who still wants a daily reminder of where they're from.
